Athletic Performance Training
Athletic Performance Training
Athletic Performance Training focuses on building the strength, mobility, and coordination athletes need to train and compete with confidence. Whether recovering from an injury or working to move better before one occurs, this program uses structured, progressive exercise to sharpen the physical qualities that support sport-specific movement.
What This Program Addresses
- Strength & Power — progressive resistance work to build the foundation for explosive movement.
- Balance & Coordination — drills that train stability and body control under changing demands.
- Movement Efficiency — correcting patterns that waste energy or place extra stress on joints.
- Return-to-Sport Readiness — graded conditioning to prepare the body for the demands of practice and competition.
Tools Used On Site
- Dumbbells & Resistance Bands — free weights and elastic resistance for graded strengthening.
- Balance Boards & Balance Pads — unstable surfaces that challenge coordination and joint control.
- Stationary Bikes & Treadmills — supervised conditioning to rebuild endurance and cardiovascular fitness.
- Exercise Balls & Foam Rollers — core work, mobility, and self-massage to support recovery between sessions.
Working Alongside Other Care
Athletic Performance Training often complements Sports Injury Rehabilitation, the Biodex Balance Program, and general Injury Prevention work, so training can be adjusted as strength, balance, and confidence improve.
