MRI & X-Ray

MRI and X-Ray imaging are available on site at Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center of Brooklyn, giving our clinicians a clear picture of what's happening beneath the surface. Accurate imaging helps confirm a diagnosis, rule out other causes of pain, and guide a treatment plan that fits the actual condition rather than guesswork.

What These Studies Show

  • X-Ray — a quick way to view bone structure, alignment, and joint spacing, often used after an injury or for ongoing joint complaints.
  • MRI — detailed imaging of soft tissue, including muscles, ligaments, tendons, discs, and nerves, useful when symptoms point to something beyond bone.

Why Imaging Matters in Rehabilitation

Having imaging capability on site means findings can be reviewed alongside a physical evaluation, without the delay of coordinating between separate locations. This supports care across many of the services we offer, including back injury rehabilitation, spine surgery rehabilitation, sports injury rehabilitation, and neurological rehabilitation, where knowing the precise source of a problem shapes every decision that follows.

When Imaging Is Typically Recommended

  • After an injury — falls, sports injuries, or auto accidents that raise concern about fractures or soft-tissue damage.
  • Persistent pain — symptoms that don't improve as expected, where a closer look helps clarify the cause.
  • Pre- and post-surgical review — confirming a diagnosis before surgery or tracking healing afterward.
